This course focused on both speaking and writing in Japanese. We worked with Japanese speakers to practice “Aizuchi” and basic question asking to promote more realistic Japanese conversations. We also were assigned journals each week that we had to complete with different topics each time. The instructor made sure to include corrections on our writing, and as the course went on, these corrections helped to improve our writing skills.
