You will be prompted, weekly, for various items to archive. Please refer to the Google Docs document in the e-Portfolio folder in Bb, which will provide tips on how to store and organize these artifacts. By the time this component of your eP is due, you will have a rich repository from which to draw. You will choose the top five artifacts that you believe best represent your learning experience in this course. Each item should contain a representative picture and a summary for why it was selected, including why it is representative of your learning experience.

This artifact is from module 10. This artifact is about social norms and going against them. Social norms are unspoken rules that people follow every day. It’s hard to go against social norms because the possibility of being judged by peers or society. This is what gives these unspoken rules so much power. I take from this is that these norms shouldn’t have so much power and should be broken from time to time. I chose this picture because it shows a guy breaking a unspoken rule by going to the stall next to another guy and by talking to another guy while using the bathroom. This should never be done.

The archive is from module 9 and is about ads and how men view women, also how women view men. It wasn’t shocking that that women look for men who are financially stable and secure but i do believe that it’s also like that for men. me and my friends look for girls who are doing something in life and who are working toward something. I can see how guys are focused on attractiveness also. I chose this picture because it’s a funny representation of how men view ads.

Module 8 artifact is about stereotypes and how they have changed or stayed the same. I feel like the stereotypes you harbor for an ethnic group depends on how your raised and who you grow up around. Stereotypes can also be changed when groups of people understand each other better. I chose this picture because it represents people getting along and understanding each other.

For my second I chose the artifact from module 6. This artifact was about being consistent in different situations. I believe that being consistent isn’t a thing that’s natural. Consistency is something you got to strive for. Also, if you are consistent in every situation then you are most likely clouded to other solutions which isn’t good. I chose this picture because changing habits makes you inconsistent.

For my favorite artifice I chose the one from Module 3. This artifact was about opposites attracting and birds of a feather flock together. My take on it is that it depends on the person because you may want someone whose views alien with your own or you might want someone who challenges you. I asked my friends what they thought about it and them like having someone who agrees with them. I chose this picture because it represents people wanting people of similar nature to be around them.
