Is this cyberwar? Yes, these actions much like the meme posted in the video should be acknowledged as acts of war. From the ethical standpoint of describing this as cyberwar, it has great power over those who do and don’t have religious beliefs because it is basically calling Hillary Clinton the Devil and that if you vote for her you are just like her. However, it is also showing Jesus saying “not if i can help it” which the only other candidate was Donald Trump so it is comparing Jesus to Donald Trump. From a political standpoint this is not very fair at all because even though all campaigns bash other candidates, this one is showing that even other countries prefer certain candidates.
On the other side of the argument, there might be people thinking that this isn’t serious and that it’s just ads. This may turn into a cyberwar that no one is prepared for because they do not take the threats personally or seriously. Politically, these types of adds may still have a downfall for candidates. This could happen because people would become familiar with the names based off of the cartoons and ads and that would be all they think of when hearing or seeing the candidates name. Ethically this is bad; however, most people would just look past it and not think twice about it whereas some might take it a bit more seriously. Overall this could turn into the topic of cyberbullying through making fun of different candidates for the given political office.
