As CEO of my own company, I would ensure that each and everyone of my employee’s safety came first. This would happen as long the employee’s followed the company’s rules and policies. Withe each rule and policy, the employee’s who follow them would receive rewards and sanctions. One rewards could be obtaining a minor pay raise. This would not only encourage the employee’s but it would also show how important it is to follow these cybersecurity rules and policies. A second reward could be to leave work early. This would be appropriate as long as the given work for the day was done. A final reward could be me, as their boss, buying lunch for them or something along those lines. This would be effective because everyone loves food. It would also help to the office or company to work together, if everyone in the office follows the guidelines and policies then I would buy lunch for the whole office. Some penalties could include having someone else, a coworker, check their work everytime and basically having to “babysit” them. The second sanction could be that it could ultimately lead to termination. This sounds a little extreme; however, when an employee continues to not follow the rules they are showing poor character traits and reliability. The final sanction would be they could be on a “break” with no pay for however many days necessary. This would work because the employee’s would not want to be out where they know they will not be receiving pay.
