I hope to become proficient enough in Spanish that I am able to effectively communicate and share data with fellow scientists from South America while conducting vital marine research in places like the Sea of Cortes off the coast of Mexico and in the Gardens of the Queen, a precious wildlife sanctuary in Cuba.
