As a student maintaining grades above a 3.5 GPA while engaging in multiple extracurricular activities, I earned the Presidential Scholarship which granted me $6,000 per year for my undergraduate enrollment at ODU.

Academic Honors Scholarship

Old Dominion University Perry Honors College, 2017 – 2021

As an Honors College student, I achieved Dean’s List in my undergraduate semesters and earned $500 per year to help alleviate tuition pay.

Intercultural Relations Award

In the 2019-2020 academic school year I assumed the position of Cultural Liaison for the Filipino American Student Association on campus where I organized a number of programs promoting cultural expression and was nominated for the Intercultural Relations Award. It was a humbling experience to accept this award; in spreading knowledge of Filipino culture and inviting others to do the same for their own culture, I supported an environment where cultural differences are celebrated. I hope to create the same environment for future clients as an SLP.
