I was asked to think deeper into how modern technology could truly negatively impact our future. This article was what my findings would be based upon and what my interpretations and opinions would be based off of.

I believe that this article really puts into perspective the mindset that we don’t really think about. It’s a fair assumption that most people in this generation use the mindset of acting without consequences. With the heavy use of AI technology within companies and personal benefit we are actively destroying the future. The article talks about how we used to never have access to technology or anything else that we thought would be detrimental to the world we live in today. But, as time has changed, we are constantly evolving in the world of technology and these changes have led to direct impacts on our water, air, and the environment as a whole. I dont think the corporations that are creating new and more modernized technology truly care about who or what it will effect, but rather how they can make fast money on everyone that is constantly consumed in the newest and greatest device or system that comes out. While I think we have improved some ways of being able to benefit the future world with technology, we’ve ruined so many parts for future generations that will never be fixable. I, along with the article, agree that modern technology has done more harm than good for the long-term.
