Compare cybersecurity risks in the U.S. and another country.

Cybersecurity risks are highly seen more often in the United States than in other countries. According to the University of Colorado Boulder, they state “The FBI has stated that US travelers are priority targets for cyber-attack and monitoring/surveillance.” The United States is not seen as the least safe world when it comes to cyberattacks but it is also not seen as the safest country in the world either, it lays roughly in the middle closer. According to Comparitech, the United States face 14.75% of SSH-based attacks by originating country, which means that they are forced brute attacks. These types of attacks occur more frequently, this is a form of a cybersecurity attack in which an attacker uses essentially the trial and error method to access different servers. We can compare the United State of America to Denmark. Denmark is known to be the safest country in the world when it comes to cybersecurity. Comparitech states, “It was placed in the top three 10 times out of a possible 15, scoring particularly well in categories such as % of users attacked by ransomware trojans (0.02%) and % of attacks by cryptominers (0.11%). It also had zero users attacked by mobile ransomware Trojans and mobile banking trojans.” These are incredible statistics and should be every countries goal. The biggest cybersecurity risks in the U.S consist of phishing, ransomware, and cyber-physical attacks. Compared to the country of Denmark, which has not perceived a high profile cyber target in a very long time. https://www.colorado.edu/researchinnovation/compliance/export-controls/guidance/international-travel/concur-international-travel-landing-page-0
