Describe three ways that computers have made the world safer and less safe

Computers have both impacted the world in both positive and negative ways. To begin with, computers have seemed to impact the world safe in many different ways. Modern technological advancements are making us safer in different ways; there are many ways in which password protection has advanced to help protect our digital files and documents. There has also been a breakthrough in voice recognition and gesture control which has increased the security of our handheld devices and also our security programs in our homes such as ring and Alexa. A few more examples of how technology has made the world a safer place is how GPS trackers have advanced which also plays a role in the amount of emergency safety/ tracker apps that have been developed. Advances in technology especially on computers whether that be a handheld computer such as our phones or a laptop/ desktop computer have transformed many sectors which have made things much more convenient. Although, there are a few negative aspects to technology and computers that have made the world a less safe place. Though trackers have a significant positive impact on world safety, it also comes with quite a few negative impacts making the world less safe. Due to all of the different tracking methods and devices, the newest one being the apple air tag seems to be bringing safety awareness to the internet. Many people have noticed trackers attached to their cars, purses, or other personal items. This can obviously cause a sense of scarcity and paranoia with the world. But also this causes more crimes to occur such as trafficking, stealing, kidnapping, etc. There are numerous advantages to computers and technology, in which they have aided us in making our world a better one. However, not everything about computers is positive, and there are other drawbacks. Overall computers have offered both positive and negative effects on the world which has made certain areas in the world safer and or less safe.
