Megan was born in October of the year 2000, to her parents in Stockton, California. Megan moved a lot as a kid, her father was a self described “restless spirit”, but when her parents divorced, her mother moved her and her two siblings to Seattle, Washington. Megan grew up taking care of her siblings, while her mom worked and went to school full time. Megan read a lot of books growing up, mostly fantasy. In High School, Megan wrote a paper for a project on Doctors Without Borders, and that is when she decided she wanted to help people by becoming nurse midwife.
After 2 years at her local Community College, Megan transferred to Old Dominion University in Virginia to finish her prerequisites for nursing school. Megan chose Virginia, because of its childhood significance and close proximity to family. Megan enjoys hiking, fishing, dancing, and cuddling with her puppy while watching comedies such as The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Seinfeld. She also loves to travel, her favorite trip was to Thailand(see pictures below)!
