I’m currently a student at Old Dominion University (ODU), and I’m still trying to find my community here. In my first year, I spent most of my time online, attending only one in-person class on campus. I did attend a few football and basketball games, but I was still quite nervous about participating in other activities. I’m hoping that as I continue my journey at ODU, I’ll find my people and become more involved in the community.

Outside of school and work, I volunteer for Relay for Life, which is a cancer organization. I volunteer at bowling tournaments, softball games, and even help with raffles and check-in. I also enjoy making cupcakes for bake sales. I’m so glad to be a part of something that raises money for such an important cause.
