Outcome

During this course I learned that in France when someone asks if you want to hang or go to the movies or out to lunch, the person that asks has to pay for both you and themselves. In America both of us pay, so I thought that was a good thing to learn just in case I go to France and ask someone to hang out. I like the idea that the person that asks has to pay for both, I think it makes more sense.

Experience

I was watching a movie  for my World culture and Literature class and in the movie they spoke French and I was able to understand some of it. I got really excited that I knew some of what they were saying because even after last semester I still had a hard time listening in French.  It was exciting as is shows how much my French has grew since the beginning of the semester.

Transfer

I would like to travel all over Europe, including France after I graduate from college. By learning some of the French language I think I will be able to better connect with the French and have a better experience there too. Also at my work, selling clothes, I understood  some of the items they were saying in French as we had just learned different items of clothing in French. I tried to speak some in French and they really enjoyed it.
