I have been interested in psychology ever since high school, which is part of the reason why I decided to study it in college. Also, due to my experiences struggling with my mental health, I wanted to learn more about psychology in order to better understand my own concerns as well as that of others. Since learning more about psychology on a broad scale, I have become much more interested in the subject over time. When it comes to social psychology specifically, the reason why I decided to take the course was due to the fact that I found the chapter on social psychology in my introduction to psychology class to be one of my favorites to learn about. Thus, I decided to take a course focused around the subject matter. Along with social psychology, I am also interested in other concepts such as topics on personality, memory, learning, etc.\u00a0As of right now, much of my goals are academic-centered. I have always been a dedicated learner and hardworking student, so as of right now, I am focusing on learning, doing well in my classes, and successfully completing the Spring 2022 semester. When it comes to goals in the long term future, I have considered the possibility of becoming a clinical psychologist.
