            Cyber policy and infrastructure must be taken seriously given the short-arm of predictive knowledge that occurs. Cyber attackers are good at what they do, and predicting a cyber-attack can certainly be difficult.  It is more of a question of when it is going to happen rather than if it is going to happen.

            Cyber policies are crucial for being ready for cyber-attacks, regardless of when they could potentially pop up and happen. Cyber policies are comparable to the grease that allows engine parts to function.  A solid foundation of cyber policies is crucial for security systems and computer programs to run properly and keep networks safe from attack.  Those who utilize these policies can also benefit tremendously helping to educate employees on their role in protecting keeping networks secure. Cyber policies also are key in avoiding several different types of issues seen in the field of cybersecurity including ethical, legal, and moral issues that may arise.

            The approach on infrastructure should be to implement policies ensuring up to date security hardware and software, as well as improved physical security such as locks, alarms, and guards, etc. Failing to put in place proper infrastructure to support cyber defense mechanisms can be a huge mistake and can essentially waste the time and effort put into policies and procedures.

            Victim and offender interactions are certainly impacted by cyber technology.  For starters, cyber technology brought along the possibility to commit crimes against someone who may be as far as across the globe from the victim.  This is a factor in why utilizing risk management strategies are crucial to mitigating these attacks.  Another way victim-offender interactions are impacted is because with cyber technology, criminals can easily hide their identity and trick victims into falling for scams.  Cyber criminals enjoy these luxuries to take advantage of victims who have let their guard down.
