Deviance is known as “the fact or state of departing from usual or accepted standards, especially in social or sexual behavior”. So work place deviance would be described as “the deliberate (or intentional) desire to cause harm to an organization”. Cyber technology has created opportunities for work place deviance because the everything would happen on the through the technology itself and not actually happen in the work place. So for instance a person can be mad at his or her former boss for firing them, this may trigger the person to lash out and leak nasty information about the boss or the company.Or the person was fired may want to leak personal and important business of the woman which then may cause the company to be hacked or taken over by some one else. They can also do things anonymously and they will never know who is behind it.
