Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational Modes of Communication
Exploring Culture

Engaging in Communities

Interpersonal Communication
This semester I struggled to do the TalkAbroads. With that being said, I do find them to be helpful and necessary for learning to listen and speak spanish effectively. Aside from these, I practice speaking spanish almost everyday at work with my boss and coworkers. I found this to be the most helpful for me because it is a fast paced environment that kept me on my toes and allowed to me to learn to speak better spanish!
Presentational Writing
We had numerous writing assignments this semester. The one I enjoyed the most was for our Unit 20 project because we got to talk about our favorite famous influencers! I did mine on Taylor Swift because I think that she has been very impactful on our society.

Interpretive Listening

This semester, we had a lot of interesting videos and audios to listen to. I found this to be very interesting and informative because they allowed us to learn about different cultures from a person of that culture’s perspective!
Interpretive Reading

We had a lot of different kinds of reading assignments this semester. I enjoyed the fill in the blank ones because it allowed me to read and learn about cultures while also practicing word/sentence/conjugation structure.
