It combines traditional cybersecurity concepts\u2014such as network protection, ethical hacking, and digital forensics\u2014with insights from social sciences, including human behavior, ethics, policy, and societal impacts of technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of this field is to develop professionals who can understand and manage cybersecurity risks not only from a technical perspective but also from a human and social perspective. Modern cybersecurity challenges are complex, and effective solutions require knowledge of both technology and the social environment in which it operates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Focus Areas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Digital Forensics:<\/strong> Investigating digital devices to trace cyber incidents, recover evidence, and analyze security breaches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ethical Hacking:<\/strong> Identifying system vulnerabilities proactively to prevent exploitation by malicious actors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Network Security:<\/strong> Protecting networks, communications, and sensitive information from unauthorized access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Social Sciences in Cybersecurity:<\/strong> Understanding human behavior, ethics, and policy to manage risks and promote secure practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Academic Application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of this course, I study how technical solutions intersect with human behavior and social factors.
