The study methods I use is writing in two different colors and going back and reviewing certain topics that I don’t understand on top hat quickly before Professor Moloney can move onto the next topic. Another study method that I use is I also watch youtube videos on topics that I don’t understand in that class. Specifically, I recently used Youtube to review conversion methods and multiple conversion methods to study for my chem test that I had earlier this evening.

I am experiencing challenges in History. To help solve that, I have already begun to go back and add comments to my notes and I have used the resource of study groups in order to help study and review topics that I don’t particularly understand too well in that class. I plan on also continuing to monitor and evaluate what study methods help me now and what methods will end up helping me in the future.

The five tips I reviewed were: stay focused, time management, overcome procrastination, participation and reading comprehension. One new technique that I could use in class is to stay focused. I have a bad habit of getting easily distracted if I feel as though the topic I am currently learning about and listening to the professor speak about doesn’t fully engage me and keep my interest

One new technique that I could and fully intend to try outside of class is to overcome procrastination. I procrastinate A LOT due to the fact that I easily get distracted. The reason I continue to do so is because even though I do procrastinate, I still manage to get all of my work done. I personally need to get out of my mindset because that will be my downfall once I begin to take 200, 300, and 400 level classes in the years to come.

My current methods of study, is going over and reviewing my notes from the previous class or classes.
