Making Connections
Old Dominion University’s LeADERS program connects students to courses and real world experiences in the areas of: Leadership, Academic Internship, Diversity, Entrepreneurship, Research, or Service Learning. This LeADERS ePortfolio shares how my experiences in the areas of Diversity, entrpreneurship, and research have supported both my personal and professional goals for growth and development.
Reflecting Back
- Why did I join LeADERS? I joined because ODU showed me how good of an opportunity they had to offer. Courses that would give me an insight, knowledge and experience which is desireable by future employers. LeADERS helps to set students up for success.
- Througout my time in the LeADERS program I succeeded in learning more about the things many people dont speak about such and all of the inequality in out world and the ways in which we are trying to overcome it.
- All of my LeADERS courses corresponded with my major and also related on the human connection and relations. My courses for LeADERS all helped to grow my knowledge when it came to society and individuals and all of the different challenges that we all face.
Looking Forward
- My goals upon graduation are to find a job in my career field of criminal justice, I am currently looking at opportunities with NCIS or AFOSI. I am aiming for a career with the main goal of helping others and improving other peoples lifestyles and situations.
