Reflect on the Fall semester and the overall experience of your first semester at college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As time has passed throughout the semester, I have undergone significant personal and academic growth. I have enhanced my time management and study habits. Overall, I felt overwhelmed by deadlines and classes at the semester’s start. However, the advice I received from mentors and peers guided me throughout the semester. Applying their advice led to noticeable improvements. My perspective on matters shifted towards a positive light, leading me in a successful end to the semester with good results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I expected my first semester to be challenging, but it has not been as difficult as I anticipated. I’ve heard that college is tough and that enjoying while in college can be challenging. While there have been struggles, I have found a good balance between my personal and academic goals, allowing me to have fun and relax. Contrary to what I expected, I’ve been able to navigate this year quite smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fourteen weeks ago, I realized the importance of developing the habit of planning ahead. Understanding that planning in advance and studying ahead would give me time to engage in activities I desired and improve my academic performance, I made a commitment to implement these practices. Although I may not have stuck to this plan as consistently as I intended, I still managed to accomplish a lot and find enjoyment throughout the semester. Despite not always studying in advance, I successfully concluded the year with positive outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the Learning Community, I was able to find friends that I ask help with. I enjoyed activties held by the Learning community, helping me to enjoy and relax. With these classes, I was able to connect health professions to society. My SOC 201S discussed a lot of real-life scenarios that connect with HLTH 101. In the HLTH 101 class, we received a lot of advice and backgrounds from a lot of Health Professions that also apply using sociology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
