Listing the five violations of Internet users from Slynchuk’s list that I see as the most egregious. From worst to least.
1: Number 9-Collecting information about children. As a father and grandfather, the protection of children is very important to me, and anyone who would traffic in or abuse children, rank as the worst of the worst for me.
2: Number 4-Sharing Passwords, Addresses or Photos of Others. Because of the risk this exposes people to, I would have to say this is a harmful practice.
3: Number 2-Using Torrent Services. It is called theft. Yes I know its easy and free but it is not a victimless crime.
4: Number 3-Using Copyrighted Services. Again it is called theft.
5: Number 6-Recording a VOIP call without consent. It is 2022, do I really need to explain the meaning of consent?
In Summary:
Everything is situationally dependent. I can flip the numbers around and mix the order, in all truth, anyway because the actual context of the action will dictate my position on how egregious the act was.
