Hacking Scenes In Movies and TV

In this video, she is showing what exactly is real and what is just Hollywood being Hollywood. I personally think that no, no one could tell the difference in that extreme measure. If an average person were to watch any of these clips they would have no idea what is real and what is fake. The only reason she can pick apart each of these is that she is an expert in this field and knows exactly what to look for. Lots of the smaller things are what she could find out and pick apart, that just wouldn’t happen if any normal person was watching these clips. Most productions don’t care about how accurate it is and just want to show the most complex stereotypical hacking that they can to make it look more intense or serious. When the majority of the time it is probably a bunch of nonsense and non of them really make any sense or are just completely false. They also exaggerate a lot of scenes, where you can just plug into a computer or any piece of hardware and type a few things as a bunch of coding pops up and they are in within 5 minutes. It is just completely unrealistic and not true whatsoever. But, those are the extreme cases, there are clips that are fairly accurate and do a good job representing what hacking actually is, now they obviously can’t show the entire thing as it still is a movie or tv show but they can give people an understanding on what real life example hacking actually is. So therefor I believe that no normal person could not pick out what is wrong and what is right in a movie or tv show.
