Social Cybersecurity is one of the new upcoming items in the new and always-changing cyber world. This article shows and explains every new step there is to social cybersecurity and what exactly it is. In an odd way, it’s almost like a “therapist” to cybercrime, if that makes any sense. Social cybersecurity looks out for all of the changes and patterns that there are. Those being, human behavior, social, and cultural changes, and even political changes in the world. They mediate and watch over all the changes to try and either predict where cyber is going or even sometimes if an attack will take place and hopefully try to stop it before it’s too late. In this article, the section “Change in the Strategic Center of Gravity” is a great section talking about how cybercrime needs to be looked at in advance at all the possible vulnerabilities we could have and how to stop something bad before it even happens. One of the major changes this article also talks about is cyberspace. This could be a huge breakout in cyber meaning good or bad and we need to be there and be ready. What is working with us is also working against us when it comes to cyberspace, it is unknown and unexplored but that is the same way with every other country not knowing what cyberspace exactly encounters. This could be extremely dangerous because of new technology as well as the innovative ways to get to space now where they have almost cut the prices in half with space travel. Either way, this article summed up a lot of the new things we as cyber defenders have to and will be ready for when the new way of cyber comes in. Technology is changing all the time and we have to be ready for it.
