My name is Michael Calderone, I am twenty-four years old and am from Chicago, IL. I am currently serving on my fifth year of active duty in the United States Air Force. I am stationed at Langley Air Force Base, which is the reason why I attend ODU. ODU holds high prestige throughout the Hampton Roads area and it was important to me to attend a local, well-known public university. I am a Finance major with a minor in Accounting.

My future goals include a mix of personal and professional goals. My personal goals include saving for retirement, continuing to progress in my physical fitness, while also working hard to support my wife and son, who will be joining us in August, 2022. My professional goals are to continue to advance in my Air Force career, while striving to complete my Bachelor’s degree by the year 2025.
