My first ever event I was apart of was Cafe Con Leche which was on October 28th 2023 at North Cafe Webb. This was a LSA (Latin Student Assocition) which WEPA a latin dang organization was apart of. I performed at this event and felt very nerve wracking but excited too.
I had met with my TA from chem lab on Novemebr 9th at the chemistry buildiing to get extra help.
My second event was when I attended the LUL Probate that occured on Novemeber 11th 2023 at the North Cafe at the Webb. It was when the LUL fraternity welcomed there two new brothers who just crossed, which I found the presentation to be intersting.
My first learning commitee event was on November 12th 2023 which was a Zoo trip for sociology. On this zoo trip we saw animals and were comparing animals to sociolgoy terms. The reason why the zoo connects with sociology.
This wasn’t on campus but it was a event I attended throughout my fall semester. On November 12th around 8pm I attended the SLU probate at UVA. It was really exciting to see something new and to learn more information and make connections.
On Novemebr 17th I attended the dance theater performance. For this perofrmance I felt more connected to the first dance just because you felt what the dancer felt. I wasn’t able to get pictures but I have proof that I bought a ticket.
Another event was the LUL & SLU Gala which was on December 2nd 2023 at North Cafe Webb. This event was so far my favorite because I got to connect with alumni and also connect with UVA students and alumni. Wepa had also perofmed this night, I just don’t have pictures of me dancing.
Another event I attended was Study with the lambdas which occured Decemeber 4th 2023 at the Latinx Room at the webb. In this event we just studied and did homework with the help of the LUL brothers.
