Choosing a field of study can be tough because there are so many options, but one area I’d pick is cybercrime investigation. I’m really curious about what cybercrime will look like in 2025 and how people will use technology to cause harm. I want to figure out how to stop these crimes and make the internet a safer place. I’d love to work with law enforcement or the military to help protect my community from cyber threats.

On the other hand, I’m not as interested in cyberspace intelligence. The roles in that field seem to be more about analyzing data, and that doesn’t sound as exciting to me compared to being more hands-on in fighting cybercrime
