Protecting Availibilty

                                As a Chief Information security officer Protections that I would implement into my company to make sure all my systems have good availability would be to always make sure to verify Who is using our systems at all times. As a (CISO) I think that within a company’s works Authentication and Authorization are one of the biggest things when it comes to a company. For you would not want any confidential information that your company owns to get out to the general public. Also in that sense let’s say your confidential information gets out there that can lose your company thousands of dollars that had a chance to be stopped. Another Protection I would implement to my company systems as a (CISO) is add antivirus software in all my computer systems. This would be very important to the systems is to detect and also prevent unwanted viruses in our systems that could potentially harm the our computer systems, This could be very important to a company because once a system attracts viruses it may be hard to get the viruses off and you also don’t want to waste unwanted money on it. By adding an antivirus it could potentially save the company thousands of dollars.

Workplace Deviance

 Cyber technology has created deviance in workplaces such as companies’ own employees trying to steal their own companies’ very important information. If a big important company has to deal with lots of customers every day this can be very harmful for the company, The employee could also take each customer’s information and take it as their own or sell it and try and make a profit somewhere else. Lets say a employee of a company is not happy with the company for whatever reason if the the employee has access to the company’s important information that companies employee can leak the information of the company to anyone they would like.

Cia Triad

             What the CIA triad is something alot of various companies use to guide them when it comes to information security. What the CIA also stands for in individual terms is confidentiality, and integrity availability also. The CIA traid is so important to companies and their security systems because no company would want to deal with getting their software exposed to outside threats and getting all the companies confidential information they have. Some things that are in the CIA triad are the confidentiality which can be also referred to as privacy within the CIA triad the confidentiality of the information they have can be determined by how important it is. The integrity is when the data in the CIA triad cannot be changed and must maintain and also contain the security of the information. When it comes to authentication and authorization Authencation is when it identifies who the user is and what application it is using. When it comes to authorization it is when it asses the users their rights when they use the applications. An example of this is when you go into a website and they want you to verify to see if your a real person trying to access the website.
