The Sandbox Essay for Feminist Theory, helped me understand how power dynamics play a huge role in feminism, in terms of uncovering what that means, and who benefits and who doesn’t. The exercise helped me take certain depictions in literature, view them as something else, in this case the Goblins in Goblin Market depict men and their motives, and taught me how look at hidden meanings, as well as symbolism.
