I have been Active Duty for eight years now and this award really brought my first tour to a close. I am about to close out my tour here in Virginia as well. This award just reflects in my naval career of accomplishments earned and received during my time onboard the USS West Virginia. I can not thank the Navy enough for what it has done for me and my family.
