Another issue is security breaches. Security breaches can be dangerous toward a company storing individuals’ data. Certain vulnerabilities in a companies’ network system can be entrances, which lead to a cyber-attack that can access sensitive data. If sensitive data toward individuals is accessed, then problems of identity theft and financial fraud arise, which could jeopardize the future of an individual and the future of the company. Information security teams must have defense plans in place in order to ensure that the hacker initiating the cyberattack is incapable of obtaining data. System implementation is another issue that arises. It’s important for companies to properly implement a storage system that the users and organization can agree on. Also, companies should communicate with the consumers about their data. Data inaccuracies are another issue. Companies can sometimes experience errors while working. This can be dangerous as the errors can lead to incorrect data being input into the system.
