Office Hours (was not able to take picture)
For my third and final academic resource event, I was able attended office hours for Wenying Chu who is my chemistry lab professor. I ended up forgetting to take a picture because I was in a hurry to get to my chemistry lecture exam which was in Perry Library. Professor Chu’s office hours were located in the Alfriend Chemistry Building on the third floor. I attended this specific day because I had to pick up my lab reports to study for her exam, as well as ask questions about the same exam. Office hours were extremely beneficial, I clarified the questions I had and I was able to talk one on one with Professor Chu rather than having to worry about taking up time in class or after class. I hadn’t attended any of my other professors office hours before attending Professor Chu’s, now I will definitely try to attend more next semester. Having separate time to talk about the topics I am confused on has helped me to be more attentive when in class and when doing homework. Aside from office hours, I was also able to attend a study table with our Learning Community Mentor. This actually helped me to become more confident about going to office hours.
