There is never an exact way to tell if your computer is safe; however, there are measures to take to give a better perspective on if it is or not. Computers and technology are evolving each day. This allows disruptions and hacks to be made and figured out as well. Security is very hard to make sure all the bases are covered. Computers are used for so much and it is important to understand the engineering of them. Computer systems security engineering works with assuring the computer has the right protection and security issues are looked at through the system life cycle. This shows protection of what is in the computer system and what is used to make the system. To assess computer safety even more from a security perspective, relevance, applicability, and validity need to be investigated. Taking these steps creates trust and grants the user of the computer knowledge on the operations and security management within the system. Computer systems have made the world much safer and also have hurt the world in the form of safety. Computers are systems used to create cybercrime. They are a source used to hack and find data on other individuals and enterprises. It has made it easier for cybercrime to become more intense. Computers have allowed hackers to have an advantage being able to use vulnerabilities of individuals because they put their life out their such as social media. Computers also give individuals an access of locations and tracking services. This could be used in crimes while connecting to Wi-Fi. Computers create a lot of accessibility in a bad way; however, also a good way for safety reasons. In first responder departments, computers have improved tracking activities for emergency situations. Computers are also used a ton in college. They create a better communication between professors and all other important contacts through email and other sources. Computers give light to the next major steps for technology in the world. The functions it is possible of completing can help safety in vehicles, spaceships, and even science (Gill, 2015).
