For the Digital Learning Assignment, I created an on-line mini-unit in HyperDoc format that supports digital citizenship through the engagement, exploration, application, and reflection of citing sources. This unit was developed with a focus on 10th-11th grade students. Students were prompted to reflect on what they already knew about the use of citations, practiced “hunting” for evidence via a scavenger hunt, compiled information in a Slide Doc, used a citation maker to create appropriate citations, and reflected on their learning via a FlipGrid. Additionally, I curated an additional four resources for further exploration of creating accurate citations.
