The Collection Development Plan utilized the information reported in the Collection Analysis Assignment to outline the recommended areas for further development, support the recommendations with a literature review, utilize Finding Aids to select resources, and develop a three year Action Plan. The areas of my library’s collection that I recommended for further development included the following:
- Graphic Novels
- Board Games
- Black Representation in YA Literature
These recommended areas for further development support equal access to resources and respecting diversity within the community that our library serves.
