Conference Presentation

Source: Conference Presentation

The Conference Presentation was a culminating assignment that gave me the opportunity to curate digital tools that I experimented with in LIBS 602: Production of Instructional Materials for an audience of peers while simultaneously incorporating the elements of design we practiced from Reynolds (2013) Presentation Zen Design. As I was planning for this assignment, I kept coming back to the idea that there are so many different ways that students can present research other than a traditional research paper. The inspiration for my theme “Adding Elevated Elements to Research Projects” came from wanting to show both staff and students ways that digital tools can be used to showcase research skills that support creativity and diverse learning modalities.
