This paired text teacher’s guide was developed for use in a 4th grade classroom.  Within the guide, a fiction and a nonfiction book are paired, using literature to teach about Autism.  The guide includes pre-reading hooks, bulletin board ideas, synopses and discussion questions for both books, SOL connections, websites related to the book pairing, information about the authors, and further reading for both students and educators.
