This image was created using WordArt.com. I was going to try the Tagxedo site, but it prompted me to download something, which I didn’t want to do at this time. I think this could be a fun, little assignment for my students to do to help me understand more about them as individuals.
I Love the idea of using the Word Cloud to learn more about your students. The “All About Me” projects can get stale. I could see how this tool could be powerful for students to share about themselves.
I love your Word Art! I found Word Art easier to use than Tagxedo. I, too thought that I was pretty savvy when it came to technology, but now I feel like I’m someone’s great grandma trying to figure out how to send a Tweet! I’m sure once we get settled in class, we won’t feel so overwhelmed!
I love your Word Art! I agree. I think it’s a great way to get to know students at the beginning of the year. Even young students could do this activity, with assistance.
