I admit, last week, I was feeling much more confident in my tech abilities. Now, I am feeling quite inept. I am not sure if I am supposed to have selected a font for my blog, but I am struggling to figure how to do that. From what I can see, I am able to change the font size and font color. As a teacher, I tend to use the Google Suite to create assignments and lesson plans. Unfortunately, I am not finding WordPress to be as intuitive as Google Docs.
When I am creating lesson plans, agenda, and assignments, I try to pick fonts that are easy to read and not distracting. My students don’t need any extra distractions when they are trying to work on one of my assignments. Many of my students struggle with reading, so tend to use sans fonts for all of my assignments.
I will say that I am not completely freaking out because I have already received help from one classmate, so I know I will be okay…even if it doesn’t feel like that right now.

I also find GoogleApps much more intuitive than WordPress. I think WP has quite a learning curve. We used GoogleSites at FCPS and they are *much* easier to use, in my opinion. Just know that you’re not alone! And your site looks great.
Yes Alexandra, we have learned that not every wordpress theme will allow you to change the font. You did just right to try and then to write about how you would use fonts.
