Some artifacts were from my time as a student at Old Dominion University and some are activities that I completed during my time as a librarian at South Boston Elementary. Advocacy: Tools that help me advocate for my job as a librarian and help my colleagues and stakeholders see the importance of the library in our schools.
Teaching For Learning: Examples of lessons that are interactive and provide students with skills that are based on the Standards of Learning for their grade level.
Diversity and Inclusion: This document helps explain the importance of diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the library program.

Professional Development: Examples and explanations of ways that I take part in professional development activities to continue to learn and grow as a librarian.
Collection Development: A collection development plan that I created based on specific needs that of the library at South Boston Elementary. The library collection is always constantly requiring updates to provide for the diverse needs of our patrons.
Library Programs: Examples of programs implemented throughout the year to promote the library, literacy, provide professional growth and encourage family connectivity.
Makerspace: Examples of makerspace activities I have created and implemented in my library program to provide my patrons with hands on activities that encourage critical thinking.
