I hope you don’t get this comment twice!
In the past, I have been guilty of using clip art, but I eventually learned that my students had trouble making the connection between the cartoonish images in clip art and real world concepts. I like the editing tools from this module that will allow me to do what I need to create meaningful images for my students.
I can agree that as a new teacher I’ve spent a lot of time searching for pre-made materials to use in my classroom. As you mentioned though, being a librarian I would be a resource to new teachers looking for materials. I hope to create many things across all subjects to help teachers out! (Also I love the crocs.)
When I started out, I took the opposite approach and often made my own materials. I like drawing, but my skills aren’t that good, and I wish I had known more about pre-made materials and creative commons license at the time! Your methods in the beginning sound much more efficient. I’ll be working towards using more online resources in the future.

Love your multicolored block Croc image! What a cool way to edit an everyday photo!
