Upon completion of a collection analysis, it was determined that goals should be made to meet the needs of the student population and select resources that support the student and faculty as well reflect the diversity of the Walt Whitman Middle School community. The collection development plan spans three years, and includes three goals and the assessments to measure for success. I am pleased to report that progress has been made in all three goal areas and plans are in place to continue to work in the upcoming year two phase of the plan.
