This collaborative unit was designed for a 3rd grade general education class. The unit is titled: Locating Information: Where do I find that? The unit was taught in four consecutive days. Beginning with a pre-test, then three days of instruction with formative assessments and ending with a post-test reflective of the pre-test. As part of a Guide Inquiry Unit, the students had the opportunity to expand their knowledge using print and online resources. The lesson plans, links to the student handouts, video of instruction, and student work samples are all included in the documentation below.
