A bibliophile as long as I can remember, I truly enjoyed my first job working in a bookstore. I loved helping people find a new good read. By college, the love of books grew into aspirations to be an editor and I found my home in the Professional Writing program at Michigan State University, as well as working at The Writing Center there. After I graduated, my path took a little detour and I managed residence hall front desks for while. From that job, I took forward a desire to connect people with resources. That desire is what fueled me to pursue my MLIS. After all, librarians are some of the best people around for connecting others to resources.
