Parents at Elizabeth Vaughan Elementary expressed concerns about accessing resources and information needed to succeed in school and in life. This Advocacy Plan details how the librarian can best support the Vaughan students and parents in accessing resources through three strategies:
- Provide curriculum related resources for challenging standards.
- Make resources more easily available to students and their families with a public library card.
- Host information literacy sessions for parents where they will learn strategies for effectively accessing resources and information, which they can use with their student at home.
