This Collection Development Plan focuses on three main areas of change for the Elizabeth Vaughan school library located in Woodbridge, Virginia. Each area of change is connected to science in one way or another to help boost the science SOL scores. The first area of change is to increase targeted resources in the area of science. The second is to add alternative formats within the library, such as e-books related to science and another database. The third area of change is to connect to the community by placing Book Houses throughout the school community stuffed with a variety of books, including science selections.
