Brookland Middle School’s Library of Things
The Brookland Middle School’s Library of Things assignment is a collection plan of physical items intended for circulation. The assignment was based on the needs identified in an environmental scan (linked below the artifact). The Library of Things collection for the school was then created to help support the Science and Math SOLs, based on the analysis of the environmental scan. The collection plan was designed to satisfy the unmet needs of the school community, and fulfills Brookland Library’s mission statement while expanding the idea of what a school library collection can be.
