This week I had the opportunity to listen to sessions on various topics related to Library Studies and preparing for the future. I especially enjoyed the talk from Jenna Rowlands of the ODU Career Center about resumes. Her presentation was interactive and very thorough. I learned some new things about resumes, including what to include in the header, important action words to use, and of course, certain things that I should NOT include. I definitely feel more prepared when I begin applying for jobs.

It was also exciting to the presentations from our class and the other 602 class. We all worked very hard to present this information, and I feel like I learned a lot about different online tools, and learned more about some that we covered this semester. It’s always exciting to share our work and information with each other!
