Vocaroo: I have used vocaroo in my classroom as a world language teacher. It is very effective for students to record themselves and submit the link to me for assessment. I like that the site is very simple and does not have unnecessary options. If you are simply looking to hear students quickly, without all of the extra bells and whistles, this does a great job.
Google Slides: I took the tips from Jake Miller and made my own version of my dog talking. I did not make this quite as sophisticated as he did, but I think I still got the point across. This was such a fun idea! While it was certainly not easy to do, it did not take me very long for the amateur version, and it is pretty entertaining. This could definitely work well in the classroom to spice up students’ audio presentations. I think students would find this very enjoyable.
Online Voice Recorder: I liked that you can cut and edit the audio clips. This works a lot like Vocaroo, but has the editing feature, and requires a download to share rather than simply a link. This could be used to create voice overs for presentations or provide audio responses for assignments.
