For this assignment, I was tasked with a scenario of a community member protesting because a public library is named for a confederate general. While this is not directly related to the school environment, it does demonstrate my understanding of the proper protocols to follow when dealing with difficult situations and disgruntled users. Within the assignment, I delve into other entities that have faced similar issues and the solutions they found. This assignment is a great example of strong research and problem solving that I will face as a librarian.
