Hello to all! My name is Hannah Hutcherson and I am excited to begin my journey to becoming a school librarian. I was born and currently live in Lynchburg, Virginia. I just recently completed my undergraduate last year with a major in History and a minor in Creative writing. I just began my first semester of my MLIS and I am excited to continue! 

As of last July, I have been working at my local library as a circulation clerk. I am responsible for most of the daily task in the library such as setting up new accounts, checking in books, and processing holds. Also, I will set up some of the displays we have for different events. 

I want to go into school librarianship because I felt such a strong connection to mine as a child. They encouraged my love for language and books. I want to bring future kids that same joy for libraries!
